The Ghana Education Service (GES) has officially released the 2025 Senior High School (SHS) placement results for students who sat for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) this year.
In a circular issued to all Regional Directors of Education on Thursday, September 18, 2025, GES announced the release of the Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results.
According to the statement, all successfully placed students are expected to report to their schools on Saturday, October 18, 2025.

GES emphasised that schools must strictly follow the official placement list generated by the CSSPS Secretariat.
“No school is permitted to admit students outside the official placement without prior written approval from GES. Any infraction, including unauthorised admissions, will attract the necessary administrative sanctions,” the statement warned.
The Service further directed school heads to ensure smooth registration in accordance with the provided guidelines.
How to check your SHS placement (2025)
Students can access their placement by following these steps:
Visit the CSSPS portal at 👉 www.cssps.gov.gh
Click on “Check Placement.”
Enter your Index Number and Date of Birth in the required fields.
Click Submit to view your placement details.
Once the placement details are displayed, students can print their admission notice and proceed with the necessary preparations to report to their assigned schools.
